Tina Davey, Trainer Email Tina |
| |
Tina hails from Orange County, California where she rode under the tutelage of many trainers, most notably trainer and judge Mike Neilsen. While attending college at UC Santa Cruz, Tina was captain of their equestrian team where she helped in the growth of the team. Also while at Santa Cruz Tina was a working student and show groom for Vicki Rose of Ridgemark Farms. In 2007, with recommendation from Vicki, Tina began working at Elvenstar Orange County under the tutelage of Elvenstar owner and nationally renowned trainer Jim Hagman. Starting as an assistant to the riding academy, Tina became general manager and trainer by the end of 2007. During Tina's time at Elvenstar O.C. she brought many riders up the ranks into the "A" circuit as well as managing nationally ranked horses and riders. In 2008, Tina had the joy of founding the UC Irvine Equestrian Team where she was able to share her passion for collegiate equestrian sports and take many riders to Regionals and Zones. She is now greatly looking forward to joining Providence Hill Farm and the Mississippi College Equestrian Team.
